Most overtime calculators multiply hours over 40 by 1.5 and stop. That misses the regular-rate rule (bonuses and differentials have to go in before you multiply), and it misses the five states where overtime starts before 40 hours: California over 8 in a day with double time over 12 and a seventh-day rule, Alaska over 8, Colorado over 12, Nevada over 8 for lower-paid workers, and Kentucky on a seventh day worked. Enter the week day by day and the calculator applies the right layer without counting the same hour twice. Not sure whether the role is overtime-eligible at all? Run the exempt or non-exempt quiz first.
CoAd Pay with time and attendance applies federal and state overtime rules on every run, with the regular rate recomputed when bonuses hit. $55/mo + $5 per employee.
