Arkansas Final Paycheck Law

Arkansas sets a fixed clock for involuntary separations under Ark. Code 11-4-405. In full: Fired: within 7 days if the employee demands payment, otherwise next payday. Quit: next regular payday. Pick the separation type, enter the last day and your next payday, and the calculator returns the latest date you can legally pay. Accrued PTO payout is a separate Arkansas rule and is not included. Related: the Arkansas minimum wage, the HR compliance risk check for the termination process, and the all-state calculator. Nearby: Texas, Tennessee and Missouri.
